YAC Boys team wins GOLD and Girls take SILVER at Jan 2026 Surrey Teams Sportshall

Surrey Teams U11 Sportshall Competition 17th Jan 2026

10 teams from 8 Surrey clubs took part in the second of season Sportshall competition on Sat 17th Jan 2026 at Spectrum. This event offers an opportunity for teams to win medals and also for athletes to be selected for Surrey Trials. In a highly charged and exciting atmosphere, the girls and boys teams took part in 8 track events and 9 field events looking to do well for their team as well as aiming to impress the Surrey selector Laura from Camberley. YAC had 2 teams: a full YAC Boys and Girls team plus a Boys Team combined with Kingston & Poly Club.

It was a close fought event:

YAC Boys won Gold by 22 pts from Waverley.

YAC Girls took Silver with only 4 pts separating us from Waverley who won the gold.

YAC Girls Team: Aurora Reith-Smith, Abi Living, Millie Bicknell, Georgia Armstrong, Olivia Beveridge, Cara Junor, Annalisa Bone, Olivia Clarke, Daisy Wignall, Lia Roggero, Matilda Ayton, Lexi Wynne Morgan.

YAC / K&P Boys Team: Ethan Poole, JJ McGraw, Henry Joyce, Elliot Evans, Hugo Hyner-Dring, Bailey Koka.

1st YAC 308 points GOLD!
2nd Waverley 286 points SILVER
3rd Camberley 256 points BRONZE

1st Waverley 292 points GOLD
2nd YAC 288 points SILVER
3rd Camberley 256 points BRONZE
